Souillac Golf & Country Club

In the heart of the Dordogne Valley, at the crossroads of the Midi-Pyrénées, Limousin and Perigord regions, the Souillac Golf & Country Club is ideally situated to explore this beautiful region of France. Here, the landscape tells of a rich and colourful history, inviting you to discover the many prehistoric caves, castles and charming medieaval towns. Plenty of opportunity too, to enjoy some delicious local food and wines. Founded just over 10 years ago, the Souillac Golf & Country Club has rapidly become a choice destination for golfers of all skill levels and from all over Europe. Hidden away in the valley, surrounded by ancient oak forest and impressive gorges, this picturesque but technical course offers all the ingredients for a riveting game of golf, as well as some of the most breathtaking views you’ll ever come across. The greens are immaculate and, in places, very fast. The ambiance at the club is relaxed and friendly (English and Dutch spoken). Accommodation is provided in elegant free-standing lodges, built in small hamlets around the course. Further facilities include nine swimming pools, tennis courts and an on-site restaurant and bar. From almost every tee at Souillac Golf & Country Club’s golf course there are panoramic views of the surrounding countryside of the Perigord Noir in all its verdant glory. It’s open all year round and local members make all newcomers very welcome.

The 18-hole course follows the contours of a natural valley and makes use of both the contours and features of the land including lakes and rock outcrops. The course winds its way through 120 acres of ancient oak forest and provides an enjoyable challenge for both experienced golfers and beginners alike.
