The Sitges Terramar Golf Club is the second oldest in Catalonia, being founded in 1927 and designed by FW Hawtree, Manuel Piñero and Jim Fazio. The course is not particularly difficult but the 6431 yard par 72 course has strategically placed greens and water hazards on many holes, which makes the golfer use strategy rather than power on this all-together pleasant course.

It is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the town of Sitges (Barcelona), a popular area that is known for its beautiful beaches and microclimate that permits golf to be played in perfect
conditions at any time of the year. Owing to its privileged location, many holes display beautiful views out over the Mediterranean – a very welcomed distraction.
In 2009 Sitges Terramar Golf Club also extended its clubhouse and facilities. Today the club offers, members and visitors new facilities that are well integrated in the environment to avoid disrupting the town’s distinctive personality and style. Sport, leisure, culture and gastronomy are brought together in one place.

A multi-sport complex, Terramar also features: Fitness & Wellness room, artificial turf mini-football pitch and a mini-basketball court both of which are floodlit, three floodlit paddle tennis, and three floodlit tennis courts. After working up a sweat there are the outdoor swimming pools that offer the perfect relaxation.

As for the clubhouse, a large pro shop and crèche are clever additions while the Club restaurant and snackbar and on the terraces offer set menus to suit all tastes, or simply a snack, aperitif or drink, with an unforgettable view of the Mediterranean sea.
