VILA VITA Parc Resort & Spa is the first institution, in the hospitality sector in Portugal to receive the Covid Safe certification, following the audit by the Associação Portuguesa de Certificação (APCER), that validates the fulfilment of the official control protocols of the COVID-19 pandemic in all the resort’s facilities.
Included in the certification are the 11 restaurants and 6 bars, as well as the outlets outside of the resort, such as the VILA VITA Biergarten, in Porches and the Praia Dourada, Só Verão and Arte Náutica restaurants, at Armação Beach Club, located at Praia de Armação de Pêra.
An independent audit process managed by APCER, this recognition is only awarded to organizations that respect the guidelines of the Direção-Geral de Saúde (DGS), of the Autoridade para as Condições de Trabalho (ACT) and the International Labour Organisation (ILT), in matters of health and safety, in the context of COVID-19.
Since its opening in June, VILA VITA Parc has reinforced its promise to maintain its usual highest standards of quality, with the well-being of its guests, employees and community as a maximum priority. In order to maintain this, the resort carefully elaborated and implemented a rigorous internal charter of good measures of hygiene and safety.
Since then, it has been updated with the recommendations of the national and international authorities, especially of the General Directorate of Health (DGS), and includes a contingency plan that is applied according to the evolution of the pandemic in the country, so that the guests’ experience at VILA VITA Parc can be enjoyed as much as possible, with the usual highest standards of service.
