A bit of history:
In 1997, Arnold Palmer teamed up with the Golf Coaches Association of America to create an international collegiate competition between the U.S. and Great Britain & Ireland. This Ryder Cup-style event showcases the top collegiate players and celebrates the spirit of golf.
Palmer believed that such competitions could enrich young lives through the love of the game.
