at this year’s World Luxury Hotel Awards, including Best Luxury Golf Resort (Europe), cementing the Resort’s status as Northern Ireland’s premier luxury destination and elevating the region’s tourism credentials to the global stage.
NORTHERN IRELAND’S BEST GOLF HOTEL 2021
Galgorm was crowned Northern Ireland’s Best Golf Hotel 2021 at the recent World Golf Awards. Royal Portrush – host venue for the 148th and 153rd Open Championships and just a short drive from Galgorm – was named Northern Ireland’s Best Golf Course.

Over this period, Galgorm has continued to evolve and we have invested significantly on their stunning championship parkland with a series of projects.
The signature project of 2021 was the redesign of the par-five 18th which has created a majestic finishing hole to remember.
Moving into their 25th anniversary year in 2022, we have already started the next phase of projects as the Galgorm evolution continues.
Last summer, Galgorm unveiled their new, dramatically enhanced Thermal Village and Spa provision, representing an investment of more than £2 million.
The Thermal Village and Spa now boasts a suite of new attractions for spa guests, including a 10-metre infinity pool on the shores of the River Maine, a 200m sq Palm House relaxation area, encompassing six heated loungers, and a brand-new Salt Room for halotherapy experiences.
With over 90 per cent of the Thermal Village and Spa offering located outdoors, they’ve also installed two group hot tubs and saunas, three additional private hot tubs with waterfall views.
The Spa previously received the Best Spa Experience in the UK & Ireland award from the consumer facing Conde Nast Awards for Excellence 2021.
Recent investment marked the first phase of a £30 million project to further expand and enhance the Resort and Spa facilities by 2027, ensuring their position as a world-class international tourism destination.
This latest £10 million project will see up to 50 additional accommodation units added to the Resort over the next two years.
In 2021 the resort added of a range of bespoke Shepherd’s Huts, nestled deep within the newly created ‘Secret Meadow’.
