Destination Golf – Spring 2025

GLOBAL GOLF TOURISM TEES OFF FOR A LANDMARK YEAR

Read the Spring 2025 golf & tourism guide here: https://joom.ag/8Zsd

The global golf tourism industry continues to thrive, with renewed energy, exciting developments, and growing international engagement.

Our team recently had the pleasure of attending two key events on the calendar: the Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) and the IAGTO European Convention (IEC). Both gatherings showcased the remarkable momentum within the sector, from emerging destinations to innovative marketing collaborations, and reinforced golf’s unique power to connect travellers, businesses, and cultures.

In this edition, we shine a spotlight on a range of standout stories from across the golfing globe. We explore the stunning Spring City Resort in China, a true gem offering world-class courses and spectacular scenery. In Europe, we take a swing through the Algarve’s sun-drenched fairways and delve into the rich golfing heritage of Ayrshire, home to some of Scotland’s most iconic links.

We also review two prestigious events from 2024 – the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) Finals, and the World Golf Awards, where excellence in golf tourism is celebrated worldwide.

From Asia to Europe and beyond, golf tourism is not just back, it’s booming. Enjoy the read, and here’s to another successful season on and off the course.

Enjoy,
Peter.
