GLOBAL GOLF BRAND DESTINATION GOLF SIGNS GOLF MEDIA PERSONALITY RACHAEL MCQUEEN
28th July 2021: Destination Golf, The World’s Best Golf Travel Magazine in 2019 and 2020 (ref: World Golf Awards), is delighted to announce the signing of golf media personality Rachael McQueen as the official presenter for Destination Golf.
The Scottish based professional golfer turned social influencer has rapidly grown to fame since launching her own media brand in 2021.
Rachael fell in love with golf after attending The Open at Royal Troon in 2004 and has been addicted ever since. After just 4 years of playing, she was a scratch golfer playing for her National team. Rachael then attended college in America turning professional after her sophomore year in 2013. After playing and teaching golf for two years at a facility in Nashville, Rachael made the decision to move back to Scotland and pursue her dreams of playing on tour.
She is very active on social media with almost 21K followers on Instagram, 6K followers on Twitter, and her rapidly growing YouTube channel has already close to 5K subscribers.
Rachael is also a Brand Ambassador to Wilson, a global brand that recognises leading talent in sport.
Rachael joins the dynamic team at Destination Golf to strengthen its digital and social platforms, including the creation of video and audio content in her role as the golf media company’s first Official travel presenter.
Speaking on the announcement, Rachael said “I travelled a lot during my time as a professional golfer, but to be given an opportunity to work for the World’s #1 golf travel magazine is extremely exciting”.
