Negative Covid tests prior to travel boost consumer confidence for Tenerife

Negative Covid tests prior to travel boost consumer confidence for Tenerife

From 14 November, visitors to Tenerife and all of the Canary Islands will be required to have a negative Covid test prior to travel. These credentials will be presented on check-in at the visitor’s registered hotel or apartment, so as to avoid delays at the airport.

Furthermore, in association with AXA, all visitors to Tenerife will shortly be covered by an insurance policy that covers a wide range of costs should they contract Covid during their visit. This includes costs related to an enforced extended stay of up to 15 days, medical treatment and repatriation, for the visitor and their immediate family or travelling partners.

For more on this watch the 8-minute interview with Carlos Beautell, Golf Product Manager of Tenerife Golf, on Episode 3 of the IAGTO News Channel.
