We’re honoured to be named the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 at the 2025 World Golf Awards
La Réserve Golf Links, the first and only contemporary links course in the region, continues to redefine golf in the Indian Ocean. Opened in 2023, the dramatic design by Peter Matkovich, shaped with the links expertise of Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen, offers far-reaching views over tropical bays, sandy beaches, and the ocean.
This recognition follows last year’s title of World’s Best New Golf Course 2024, reaffirming La Réserve Golf Links’ position as one of golf’s most exciting modern designs. The course is the first in the African region to achieve GEO Certified® Development status for sustainable design and construction, as it sits alongside a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
We can’t wait to welcome the world once again this December, as La Réserve Golf Links hosts the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open for the second time.
