Luke Donald has been named European Captain for The Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Limerick, Ireland. The Englishman will once again lead Team Europe in 2027 after guiding the side to victories at Marco Simone in 2023 and Bethpage in 2025.
A former World Number One, Donald embodies the spirit of leadership, preparation and respect that defines the Ryder Cup. As the competition approaches its historic centenary, his appointment ensures continuity for a European team that continues to shape the modern history of this iconic contest.
Spain, meanwhile, holds a special chapter in Ryder Cup legacy. In 1997, the event was first played on the continent outside the British Isles at the legendary Real Club Valderrama in Andalusia. This historic edition helped transform Spain into one of the world’s great golf destinations. More than three decades later, the Ryder Cup will return to Spain in 2031 at the spectacular Camiral in Girona.
Both iconic courses are part of the Tee Times Golf Holidays portfolio, inviting players from around the world to walk the same fairways where history was made and enjoy unforgettable Spain golf holidays.
