La Cala Resort today announced it has been recognised as a 2020 Travelers’ Choice award winner. Based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews the award recognises outstanding traveller feedback, placing La Cala in the top 10% of hospitality businesses around the globe.
The accolade mirrors another recent award adjudicated by impartial consumers. In February independent course-review website Golfshake ranked La Cala in the top-three of golf destinations worldwide, based on more than 15,000 reviews from real golfers. In addition, La Cala has been nominated in in three categories at the prestigious World Golf Awards with winners to be decided by public vote, held on the World Golf Awards website [INSERT LINK].

The Traveler’s Choice Award comes eight months after La Cala was named Best 4* Golf Resort in Spain at the 2019 International Travel Awards and best 4* hotel in both Spain and Europe at the 2019 International Hotel Awards.
Irish owners FBD Holdings has invested heavily over the last two years, instigating a complete refurbishment of La Cala’s 107-bedroom hotel.
