Ahead of their Irish, UK and European Tour, Irish band Keywest will perform at the Amgen Irish Open in Doonbeg, Co. Clare this September.
Defending champion Rory McIlroy will headline the on-course action, while off the course, five-piece rock and pop band Keywest will take centre stage on Saturday, 12 September, in the Championship Village at Trump International Golf Links Ireland.
Performing after the final putt of the day, they will bring their signature blend of rock and pop to fans at Ireland’s national golf tournament.
From their early days busking on Grafton Street to supporting global acts such as Bastille, Bryan Adams and Kodaline, Keywest have built a reputation for high-energy live performances. Their rise has also caught the attention of industry icons including Sheryl Crow and Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson).
The 2026 Amgen Irish Open takes place from September 9-13, offering five days of world-class golf alongside live music, premium food and drink, family entertainment, and fan activations.
Attendees can look forward to seeing McIlroy and other top players (to be announced) in action, alongside a vibrant festival atmosphere both on and off the course. Fans are encouraged to secure their place early as Ticket+ and Green on 18 experiences are sold out for both Saturday and Sunday, with general admission left for Saturday as well as Thursday and Friday.
In the past 12 months, Keywest’s online following has surged from 25,000 to over 230,000 Instagram followers. With multiple No.1 albums and singles, millions of streams, and extensive radio airplay across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, they regularly return to their busking roots.
Keywest said:
“This is our first time playing the Amgen Irish Open so we’re very excited and honoured. Events like this bring together sport, music and craic and we’re looking forward to putting on a great show in Doonbeg.”
Paul Gillmon, Championship Director, Amgen Irish Open, added:
“We are delighted that Keywest will be performing on Saturday evening at the Amgen Irish Open. Live music plays an important role in enhancing the overall fan experience, and their performance will contribute to what promises to be a fantastic atmosphere throughout the week in Doonbeg.
We encourage spectators to make a full day of it – enjoy the opportunity to watch some of the world’s best golfers up close, before heading into the Championship Village to experience great food and live music.”
