Golf’s Elite Set For Northern Ireland As Country To Host Elevate Golf 2026

Golf tourism’s newest showpiece event Elevate Golf is to be held on the Emerald Isle for the very first time this October as the industry’s biggest names are welcomed to the great golfing country of Northern Ireland.

Held between October 25 and October 30, Elevate Golf 2026 will see the finest golf courses, resorts and accommodation providers connect with high-class international tour operators during tailor-made appointments, and in more casual surroundings on the golf course and at evening receptions.

Elevate Golf – which will be in its third edition in 2026 – is held in two stages, with the first half of the six-day event taking place in Northern Ireland. Here, a carefully selected pool of the best golf tour operators from across the globe will be hosted at the luxurious Galgorm Resort in County Antrim, experiencing the hotels premium hospitality.

Leanne Thorpe, Director of Elevate Golf, said:

“At Elevate Golf, our mission is to bring people together, and we’re thrilled that our next chapter will start in 2026 amidst the stunning landscapes of Northern Ireland.

“We look forward to launching the event by highlighting the area’s exceptional courses to leading tour operators and immersing ourselves in the welcoming spirit and rich traditions that make Northern Ireland so special.”

Attendees from golf clubs, resorts and accommodation providers are also able to join the first leg of the event, meeting tour operators on several of the countries world-class links courses, including Open Championship venue Royal Portrush.

After golf on October 27, guests will be flown via private charter to Scotland for the business portion of the week – returning once again to St Andrews and the Fairmont St Andrews for pre-scheduled meeting appointments, curated networking experiences and more exceptional golf.

George Diamondis, Golf Marketing Manager at Tourism Northern Ireland, said:

“Tourism NI is delighted to support Elevate Golf in bringing the familiarisation trip to our shores next year. Elevate Golf brings the world’s leading golf tour operators together and we are excited to give them a first-hand experience of our exceptional courses, stunning landscapes and warm hospitality.

“Building on the momentum of hosting The 153rd Open, this is a key opportunity to grow the value of golf tourism and further strengthen Northern Ireland’s reputation as a world-class golfing destination.”

Leigh Heggarty, Director of Business Development at Galgorm Collection, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to bring the opening leg of Elevate Golf 2026 to Northern Ireland and to host this influential event at Galgorm. With The Open returning to Royal Portrush this year, Northern Ireland continues to cement its position on the global stage as a premier golf destination. Elevate presents a fantastic opportunity to build on that momentum and continue the region’s golf legacy by showcasing our hospitality to the world’s leading tour operators.”
