Destination Golf expands its presence in Spain with the signing of Ramon Noarbe

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ramon Noarbe, who will grow Destination Golf’s presence in Spain.

Based in Madrid, Ramon joins us with a lot of golf industry experience. He currently leads business development at AUREX, the first Spanish B2B golf and business platform. Previously he managed over 35 golf tournaments as Tournament & Events Coordinator at JGOLF, including contributing to the organization of prestigious professional events like the Challenge de Cádiz and Alps de La Gomera.

In addition, he represented the Asociacion de Campos de Golf de Madrid, where he organized major events such as the IAGTO Trophy (which brought over 50 tour operators to Madrid) and coordinated international fam trips. He also promoted Madrid as a prime golf destination at more than 10 international trade shows, including IGTM, IEC, Omega Masters, and Sports and Events Europe. During his tenure, Madrid was awarded “European Golf Destination of the Year” by IAGTO for the first time – a significant achievement that reflected their strategic efforts to elevate the region on the global stage.

Ramon is deeply passionate about golf, tourism, and fostering connections that create meaningful business opportunities. He has also founded his own golf apparel brand, Iberica Golf, and has studied Sports Management. In recent years, he has had the privilege of experiencing first-hand the power of golf tourism, traveling to over 20 countries and gaining insights into various markets, cultures, and business practices within the industry.

Ultimately, he is a passionate advocate for both business and golf, always eager to connect the two!
