The thrill of wild, rugged landscapes, breath-taking cross-country and mountain drives, warm friendly pubs and spirited traditional Irish music as autumn bequeaths her most vibrant hues, a gift of seasons past and a promise of seasons to come.
The third annual Cannonball Overland Adventure sets off on November 10th and 11th to explore the stunning scenery of the kingdom of Kerry taking in Tralee, Dingle and Killarney. Very few places cast a spell quite like the Dingle Peninsula. Located along the fabled Wild Atlantic Way, this 30-mile outcrop at the westernmost top of Ireland is home to craggy sea cliffs, rolling hills, and remote beaches. The carefully planned route takes in magnificent mountain passes, wild coastal drives and majestic lakes all the while weaving through the famous picturesque towns and villages of Kerry.
Home for the two nights is the beautiful Dingle Skellig Hotel, nestled on the most westerly peninsula of Europe overlooking the breathtaking Dingle Bay. For lunch and dinner participants will enjoy the very best fare that Kerry has to offer, from excellent fresh seafood to its succulent Kerry lamb and mouth-watering flavours. After dinner each evening, the group will ramble into Dingle town, famous for its vibrant pubs, and a magnet to artists, writers, musicians and filmmakers
The Cannonball Overland 4X4 Adventure sees an array of both luxurious & off-road ready 4X4’s from the opulent Bentley Bentayga’s, Defenders old and new to monster Ford Raptors. Last year’s event saw a collection of Range Rover SVRs, Land Rover Defender 110’s, Audi Q8’s, Audi SQ7’s, Range Rover Sport’s, Jeep Wrangler’s, Porsche Cayenne’s & many more and some exciting new additions to this year’s event.
