Leading names from the golfing world joined Global figureheads and influencers from the golf travel industry at Spain’s legendary La Manga Club for the 5th annual World Golf Awards last month and the Destination Golf team was excited to interview the prize winners though our global media partnership.
In the same month, golf resorts and golf destinations across the globe were honoured at the International Golf Travel Market gala dinner to mark the 2019 IAGTO Awards in Slovenia capital Ljubljana. Congrats to all of the global winners who are featured in this edition.
Following on from his previous feature to highlight the attractions of a southwards migration to warmer climes with the onset of a northern hemisphere winter, our Southern Africa Editor John Cockayne talks about his “getting here” experiences in part2 of “The Snowbirds” feature.
