Aphrodite Hills – Driving the Green with GEO
Aphrodite Hills PGA National Cyprus is proud to announce that following a comprehensive audit, the Golf Resort has maintained its GEO CERTIFIED® STATUS. This is in recognition for commitment and efforts to achieve a credible standard for sustainable golf course operations.
It applies for both the PGA National Cyprus Golf Course and the new PGA National Academy Course – upgraded from the 3-Hole Academy into a 6-Hole, Par 3 Course – the first and only academy course in Cyprus designed by PGA and GEO standards, with an official opening date on the 12th June 2023.
GEO Certified® is the symbol of an excellent golf environment, confirming that Aphrodite Hills PGA National Cyprus satisfies all GEO certification criteria; meeting a credible standard in the areas of nature, resources and community, and is committed to continual improvement.
The Aphrodite Hills Golf Club is delighted that this global accolade recognises all of the outstanding work by the Course Management Team and the Golf Clubhouse Staff.

GEO Certification is assured by the GEO Foundation; the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering programmes that help people on the ground to evaluate and improve all areas of environmental practices and sustainability.
Every care is taken to create a sustainable environment across the Resort grounds, and to educate guests on best practices for conserving energy and lessening their impact on the Resort’s natural landscape.
