La Manga Resort – Spain

One of the world’s finest all-round sports and leisure resorts, located in Murcia on sunny south-eastern Spain’s Costa Cálida, or ‘warm coast’, under three hours from most European cities. No matter what time of year you choose to visit, there are plenty of things to keep you entertained and busy at La Manga Club, always with the assurance of five-star facilities and service. Golfers will be spoilt for choice, with three 18-hole golf courses only moments from your accommodation.

La Manga South Course was originally designed in 1971 and subsequently remodelled by Arnold Palmer in 1992. At 6,449 metres off the white tees, the South is a top-calibre championship course. Located in the centre of the valley, it has wide, palm-fringed fairways and water hazards on 15 out of its 18-holes.
La Manga North Course is an 18-hole, par-71 course that has undulating contours, including storm gullies, palm trees, lakes and barrancas, all creating a unique element to the challenge on offer. Although this course is slightly shorter than the South course (5,753 metres), its tight fairways demand precision rather than length.

La Manga West Course is a Dave Thomas design, where golfers will feel that every facet of their game is being put to the test on each shot. Set among pine woodlands, its design provides a distinctive character along its undulating land. The tight front nine demands accurate driving to avoid the gullies while the back nine, up in the hills, is more open but nonetheless challenging.
Off the courses you will find tennis, spa, swimming, fitness, squash, paddle tennis, cricket, professional football, lawn balls, pitch & putt, crazy golf, mountain biking, jogging and walking routes, beach, water sports, horse riding, go-karting, cultural tours, shopping and over 20 restaurants and bars offering a wide choice of gastronomy and lively nightlife.
La Manga Club is a sports and leisure resort that is home to three of Europe’s finest golf courses. It has been nominated as one of the five top sports resorts in the world.
