Antognolla Golf has once again been nominated as ‘Italy’s Best Golf Course’ by the World Golf Awards after collecting this accolade last year.
Now in its 8th year, the World Golf Awards celebrates world-class golf courses and excellence in golf tourism. The awards are widely considered to be the Oscars of the golf tourism industry. The winners of the awards are chosen by industry peers working within the golf tourism industry as well as by golfing consumers looking to reward the finest golf venues around the world.
Commenting on the award nomination on behalf of the owners, Antognolla Golf Director César Burguière stated, “Being nominated again after winning the award last year validates our commitment to excellence and continued investment in the resort.
Over the last three years there has been significant investment and upgrades both on and off the course, so this second award nomination shines a light on all the hard work the team here does every day.
We have seen a jump in golf tourism numbers recently, despite the pandemic, with more and more repeat visitors exploring this relatively undiscovered region of Italy. We are confident that winning this award last year helped increase our exposure.
