As part of the rebranding, Vidamar Resort Algarve will join the Wine & Books brand, aligning with its standards of excellence. The renovations will bring a new lobby, rooms, and restaurants, enhancing the guest experience, who will be able to enjoy this renewed comfort from February 2026.
After the recent refurbishment of the outdoor areas, Vidamar Algarve Hotel announces an ambitious transformation plan for the upcoming autumn/winter season. The project includes the refurbishment of all rooms, exterior painting with a new palette of elegant and neutral colours, as well as the renovation of common areas, reception, lobby, and bars. The property, renowned for its privileged seafront location, will also enhance its gastronomic offer with new spaces dedicated to Portuguese cuisine and wines. From 15 February 2026, the hotel will reopen carrying its new brand.
Intervention plan:
15 October (until 31 January 2026) – start of exterior painting of the building and new decoration of the rooms, carried out in blocks. These works will be noise-free to avoid inconvenience to guests.
4 January (until 14 February 2026) – intervention in public areas and full closure of the hotel until 14 February 2026 (lobby, reception and outlets – restaurants and bars).
On the beachfront in Herdade dos Salgados, the Wine & Books by the Sea, Algarve, prepares for a new chapter where Portuguese gastronomy and wines take centre stage. Set for 15 February 2026, the reopening will unveil the new brand and an enhanced experience that promises to delight all the senses.
