VisitPortugal announces upward spiral of Irish visitors

VisitPortugal is delighted to announce a continued upward spiral in their tourism figures from Ireland to Portugal as their numbers grow from Ireland.
A strong performance, and the year is not over yet.
The Portuguese market overall is showing a 10.4% increase January to October, and Ireland is pushing those increases even higher, as January to October figures are showing growth of 11.5% year on year. With tourism the key driver within Portugal’s economy, these figures make good reading.

From an Irish perspective, the Irish love affair with Portugal continues to grow year with figures now well ahead of all predictions. Our figures to date for October 2017 show an 11.7% increase.”*
