OKOL Golf Club – the new golf destination in Bulgaria

OKOL Golf Club just had its soft opening and golfers could enjoy it since this year. This season players will be able to play all 18 holes and the first tee time for the season will be complimentary!

Designed by European Golf Design, the Par 72 championship course will measure 7,000 yards and will be capable of hosting major international tournaments and events and aims to become a center for both beginners and advanced players.

Designed by one of EGD’s leading architects Robin Hiseman, the course design keeps and enhances the natural habitats, the alpine meadow and the many impressive granitic tors throughout the layout.

The Golf academy features extensive outdoor and indoor practice facilities and together with the Club house, will be managed by IMG.

The golf course is located right in the center of the new development OKOL Lake Park, around 1,000 meters above the sea level and offers stunning views of Iskar Lake, the largest in Bulgaria, the distant Rila Mountains and the famous Borovets ski resort.
