San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Alcalá de Henares and the Royal Site and Villa de Aranjuez make up a unique triangle in Europe, where golf coexists with some of the most renowned cultural enclaves in the world and are located in the Comunidad de Madrid. Three World Heritage cities for the UNESCO which are also home to reference fields such as Real Club de Golf La Herrería, El Encín and Club de Golf Aranjuez.
This model – which combines golf, heritage and tourism – not only enriches the player’s experience, but also promotes territorial promotion, favours synergies with hospitality and local commerce and positions the Community of Madrid as a differentiated, unique and high value-added destination.
In 2026, this integration between sport and heritage will continue to be one of the strategic pillars of the ACGM to consolidate Madrid’s leadership in golf tourism at a national and international level.
