Every October the world’s best golf courses and destinations converge at The International Golf Travel Market, which took place in Lisbon late last year. One of the destinations that caught my attention was Egypt, so it wasn’t long before my bags were packed and I was onsite to experience a golf destination that serves up golf of the highest quality, particularly along the Red Sea and around Cairo. It was a fascinating week, and I am excited to share my destination review which is our main cover story in this edition.
Also staged in late October last year, the World Golf Awards were held in Abu Dhabi. We take a look at some of the winners from the “Oscars of the golf tourism industry”: La Bagnaia Resort (Italy’s Best Golf Course 2023), The Heritage Golf Club (Indian Ocean’s Best Golf Course 2023) and Trump International Golf Links (Scotland’s Best Golf Course 2023).
