It’s been a busy few months of travels for the Destination Golf team, so this edition will bring features from Greater Madrid, Scottish Highlands, Louisiana and Northern Michigan.
Madrid, the vibrant capital of Spain, beckons millions of tourists each year with its rich tapestry of history, culture, and gastronomy. As the beating heart of the country, Madrid offers visitors an immersive experience that showcases the best of Spanish heritage and modernity. Our CEO was a recent guest of The Madrid Golf Courses Association, which has almost 20 golf venue members, all close to the heart of the Spanish capital and all welcoming visiting golfers.
The Scottish Highlands offers unique experiences, blending breathtaking landscapes with historic golf courses. On a recent visit to this region, our CEO and Scottish Editor based themselves at Glen Mhor Hotel & Apartments, a charming hotel nestled on the banks of the River Ness in Inverness.
We also have two destination features from the US, after my recent visits to Louisiana and Northern Michigan.
