Club de Golf Alcanada is celebrating recognition for its commitment to service excellence after securing a prestigious Gold Flag at the 59club Europe Service Excellence Awards for the fifth time.
The award also secured Club de Golf Alcanada’s place in the Eminent Collection which honours venues and individuals who have not only achieved but sustained first class service for a minimum of five years.
The awards ceremony took place at Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort in France, bringing together many of Europe’s leading golf clubs and luxury resorts to celebrate outstanding standards in customer service, operations and management.
In addition to receiving the coveted Gold Flag designation, Alcanada was also shortlisted in two major categories – ‘Golf Operations Team of the Year’ and ‘Golf Manager of the Year’ for club director Kristoff Both.
The nominations represent a significant achievement for the Mallorca venue, which competed against some of Europe’s most prestigious golf resorts despite operating as a standalone golf course.
59club operates throughout Asia, UK, Europe, Middle East & Africa and the USA, working with hundreds of clubs worldwide.
Club de Golf Alcanada has established itself as one of Spain’s premier golfing destinations since its opening in 2003. Alongside its championship pedigree, the venue remains one of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after courses for members and visiting golfers alike.
